Since opening our Secure Dog Parks back in October 2021, our goal has always been to create South Wales’ first purpose built Luxury Dog Hotel. We are thrilled to announce that our Luxury Dog Hotel is now open for staycations! Based on the grounds of our family home and Secure Dog Parks, our Luxury Dog Hotel is a unique, home from home set-up with the perfect amount of physical stimulation, social interaction, mental enrichment and human company- Your dog’s favourite staycation!

Here at The Cwtch, we understand that choosing where to board your pup is a tough decision and leaving them behind can be extremely unsettling for you both. Since opening our Secure Dog Parks, we’ve met many lovely dog owners with the same concerns and worries when it comes to boarding - So, to take away all those doubts we are thrilled to finally be opening our very own Luxury Dog Hotel!

Our Luxury Dog Hotel offers a safe, stimulating, and social set up. A cage-free environment with an inviting and cosy, home from home feel to ensure your pup is having just as much fun on their holiday, as you are on yours!
Our unique home from home set up means that your pup will enjoy a daily routine that incorporates the perfect amount of physical stimulation, social interaction, mental enrichment and human company. Throughout their stay with us, your pup will enjoy daily walks through our beautiful Welsh woodlands and meadows that our Dog Hotel sits on, exciting off-lead play in our secure areas, engaging enrichment games and puzzles, relaxing naps in their luxury private rooms, staff snuggles in our cosy dog lounge, as well as plenty of free play with the other Cwtch Hotel guests.
By day, our guests are free to roam as they like and would do in their own home, with other guests and staff members. By night, our Luxury Dog Hotel has 12 private and cosy suites with homely touches, underfloor heating and best of all, they are all completely cage free! Complementing our luxurious private suites is an open plan farmhouse kitchen and lounge area for your pup to relax in with staff and other guests. Our spacious lounge and kitchen area offers a calming space for guests to rest and enjoy afternoons spent in front of the log burner after a busy and fun filled day. Our large indoor play area and enrichment room provides the perfect space for guests to enjoy stimulating games, puzzles, toys and training sessions with members of the team.
We have 3 outdoor secure paddocks for your pup to roam freely as they please- just like they would at home! In addition, we have 29 acres of beautiful woodland areas and fields that guests can enjoy many walks through during their stay.
Throughout their staycation with us, your pup will enjoy a daily routine which can be tailored exactly to their requirements. Our unique set up will guarantee your pup a fun, social, stress-free and stimulating stay with us! All of our full time staff members are currently studying in "Level 3 Diplomas in Canine Care and Behaviour".

Due to the unique, social, home from home set up of our Luxury Dog Hotel, all of our guests must be comfortable and happy to socialise with others during their stay. Because of our social environment, we cannot accept dogs that meet any of the below listed criteria to ensure the safety of other guests and staff.
We will not accept dogs that have any history of aggression to other dogs and/or humans
We will not accept entire males over the age of 9 months old that have not been castrated

We will not accept female dogs in season

Due to handling, we cannot accept dogs that weigh over 40kg
We will not accept dogs that are not fully house-trained
As our Luxury Dog Hotel sits on the grounds of our family home, we will not accept dogs that bark excessively
Unfortunately we cannot accept any banned breeds of dogs including XL Bully breed types
We will not accept dogs that do not have the necessary vaccinations (These include Kennel cough, Parvovirus, Hepatitis, Distemper, Para Influenza and Leptospirosis)
Prior to booking a stay with us, your pup will need to complete an Introduction Day to ensure they are well suited to our set up. To book an Introduction Day for your pup please click here.
Our Introduction Days will allow us to assess your pup around other Cwtch guests and staff during free play sessions and group walks. We will monitor how they mingle and integrate into our social set up to ensure a happy, relaxed and safe stay with us. At the end of your pups Introduction Day, we will determine whether or not we are the right fit for your pup for future staycations.
